About Mindful Yoga & Wellness

At Mindful Yoga & Wellness, we believe yoga is more than a physical practice—it’s a way of cultivating awareness, balance, and connection in everyday life. Our studio was created as a calm, welcoming space where individuals can slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves through mindful movement.

Rooted in intentional practice, our classes are designed to support the whole person, body, mind, and spirit. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to deepen your practice, Mindful Yoga & Wellness offers a supportive environment where you are encouraged to move with awareness, listen to your body, and honor where you are in each moment.

Meet The Founder

Hi, I'm Kim!

Mindful Yoga & Wellness came into my life in a way I didn’t expect, but immediately knew I couldn’t ignore. What started as a personal commitment to slowing down, listening to my body, and caring for my nervous system eventually became a deeper calling to create a space where others could do the same.

I’ve spent much of my career supporting people through big, often stressful life moments, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when we feel grounded, supported, and not alone. Mindful Yoga & Wellness is an extension of that belief: a place to move with intention, breathe deeply, and reconnect without pressure or judgment.

My hope is that when you walk into this studio, you feel a sense of ease. That you feel welcomed exactly as you are. And that you leave feeling a little more connected to yourself than when you arrived.

I’m so grateful you’re here.

About Our Teachers

Kristina Heathman

My journey teaching group fitness began in 2008. A year later I was introduced to the willPower method. I continued earning certifications in other fitness disciplines, but have always leaned on the foundation of willPower as the way to practice smarter, not harder.

Leigh is a yoga flow teacher and wellness advocate with over 17 years of experience supporting mind-body-spirit connection. Drawing from her background in yoga, massage therapy, and spiritual study, she guides students through empowering, mindful movement that builds strength, resilience, and self-awareness.

Jessica is a 500-hour RYT yoga instructor who believes deeply in the healing power of movement. Inspired by her mentor and personal journey, she shares yoga as a supportive, empowering practice that strengthens the body and focuses the mind.

Alex Vaughan

Alex Vaughan (they/them) is a recovery-centered educator, performer, and fitness leader with decades of experience blending movement, compassion, and self-expression. Through strength-based classes and creative practices, Alex helps people build resilience, reclaim authentic power, and experience movement as liberation rather than perfection.

Julie Zanon

I guide classes through a deep connection to body language, self study and intuition. I allow my gift to flow through with ease and my classes are designed in the moment creating exactly what the student bodies are telling me. I practice and teach finding santosha (contentment) in the moments one is able.

April Courtney

As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, I love creating classes that blend movement, mindfulness, and just enough anatomy to help you feel more at home in your body. My 17 years as a registered nurse have given me a deep appreciation for how the body heals and how powerful compassionate self-care can be. Students are encouraged to connect with their bodies, build mental and physical strength, and cultivate a grounded, less stressful way of living through practices rooted in Ashtanga, Flow Vinyasa, Yin yoga, and Slow Burn.

Natalie Mock

Yoga has been a transformative journey for me, shaping my body, mind, and spirit. After navigating traumatic experiences, I found healing through movement and mindfulness, discovering a deep sense of self-awareness. Earning my 50-hour sculpt certification ignited my passion for inspiring others to tap into their inner power. My classes are designed to energize and uplift, blending dynamic movement with unwavering support. I strive to create an inclusive space where every student feels strong and seen. For me, yoga is a way of life—a reminder to stay present and connect with our truest, most capable selves.

Natalie Rizk

As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, Natalie creates intentional vinyasa flows that blend breath, movement, and vibrant music to help you find space to breathe. Her 15 years of practice, sparked by a search for anxiety relief, have been shaped by dedicated study across the country. Having navigated a fast-paced corporate career while raising two young girls, she deeply understands the challenge of slowing down. Students are encouraged to step out of the noise, reconnect with their bodies, and discover emotional release through a practice rooted in openness, strength, and the power of mindfulness.

Chrissy Stamm

Chrissy Stamm is a perinatal yoga teacher, chiropractor at Joyful Body Barn, HeartMath Resilience Trainer, and mom of three. She passionately supports women through motherhood with movement, mindfulness, and community. Motherhood is full of immense change, and Chrissy believes that sharing both struggles and wins in a supportive environment makes all the difference. Her classes focus on building strength, confidence, and nervous system support in a welcoming space where moms feel less alone. She is excited to serve pregnant and postpartum moms here in Erie.

Alyson Rockhold

Alyson Rockhold is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with an additional 50-hour certification in Yoga Nidra. She is especially passionate about sharing the restorative power of Yoga Nidra and creating welcoming spaces where people feel connected, centered, and a true sense of belonging.

Jared Schulte

Jared is a Navy veteran, solo father, and yoga teacher shaped by resilience and personal healing. Raising his two sons—one autistic and nonverbal—he discovered movement’s transformative power after relearning to walk following an accident. Certified in multiple trauma-informed disciplines, Jared mentors veterans and incarcerated individuals, promoting healing through authentic connection. Off the mat, he enjoys gardening, photography, and exploring Colorado’s nature with his boys. Jared views yoga as internal medicine that quiets the mind, restores the body, and awakens our innate capacity to heal.
